Eco-friendly vehicles and the various topics surrounding them are hardly a new for Ecollo. When we catch wind of new developments, trends or information related to green driving habits that we find interesting, we're always excited to post it for our audience.
Earlier this year we warned you why buying an earth-conscious vehicle could cost you more money in the long run despite gaining fuel-efficiency. By the time you factor in depreciation and loan and interest charges, sometimes you're better off hanging onto the vehicle you currently own, especially now with the economic situation seemingly growing worse every day.
So if low-emissions vehicle isn't exactly great for your wallet, it's still better for Mother Earth, right? Right? Hold on just a minute: driving an electrical car may reduce gasoline usage, but what about the higher levels of water consumption needed to meet the demand for increased electricity? Despite this, one British inventor feels solar-eletric cars will become the drivers' choice for best fuel-efficent vehicles.
